Students and Refugees (STAR)- a collective of people on the move is a student-led initiative that started in 2021. STAR organizes activities with the aim to facilitate a deep connection between students, locals, and the people residing in the refugee centers in Middelburg, the Netherlands. The three social groups which are normally quite isolated from each other are brought together for cultural dialogue and friendships. Moreover, STAR brings awareness to refugee rights.
